Who Are We?

Ben Gottfredson was a student athlete at Dixie State University and got his start moving furniture in between school and football practice. His exceptional service and care for his customers turned the occasional move job into a successful and growing moving company named Big Ben’s Moving and Storage.

In 2019 Ben built his first storage facility to better serve his moving customers and community. In 2022 Ben started Big Storage Ventures so he could share his love for self-storage and his success in the asset with his friends, family.

Today Big Storage Ventures is actively finding self-storage deals, managing the assets, and operating the facilities. We strive to conduct business with honesty and integrity, and to do what is best for our partners. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and making the most of life’s meaningful moments alongside his wife, Lauren.

Since joining forces with Ben in 2021, he has played a key role in executing the company’s vision and driving its growth. Outside of the office, Kallan enjoys sunny days and spending quality time with his three children and his wife, Maddie.
